Chester is a 35-year-old male Mealy Amazon who came to The Georgia Aviary after the passing of his lifelong caregiver. Raised from a chick, he was deeply bonded to “Mom,” who remained his favorite person throughout his life. Chester has lived a quieter lifestyle in recent years and hasn’t been regularly handled, but he is observant and communicative, often chirping and making soft “gurgling” sounds as he watches the activity around him. He has been maintained on a quality Harrison’s pellet diet and receives routine veterinary care.
